WASHING
Raw apricots go through two stages of mechanised washing under hygienic conditions.SIZING
Washed apricots are calibrated mechanically.SELECTION
Washed and calibrated apricots are hand-selected to remove any foreign material.Colour and appearance are carefully checked and any defects are removed individually.
FINAL SELECTION
A second hand-selection process helps to ensure that the finished products meet Turkel’s high quality standards.PACKING
Finished apricots are carefully packed by the experienced staff in different weights and package types, according to customers’ needs.




Onsite laboratory testing measures moisture and sulphur content.
DRIED FIGS PRODUCTION

FUMIGATION
Figs are firstly fumigated under the control of a food engineer during at least 24 hours against the harmful pests.WASHING
After fumigation, figs are mechanically washed and cleaned by salty water under hygienic conditions.SIZING
After fumigation and washing, figs are put into sizing machine and calibrated according to their sizes.AFLATOXIN CONTROL
Before the packing process, figs are inspected under UV lights by the skilled and experienced staff specialised in aflatoxin control.The ones contaminated by aflatoxin or carrying risk for health are completely removed and destroyed.
PACKING
Finished figs are carefully and aesthetically packed by the experienced staff in different weights and package types.
